  • If you are registering for the first time for the International Association of Women Judges Conference 2025, please click on the words "New Registration" to create your profile and password. 
  • Once you have registered and should you wish to amend your existing registration, please click on the words "Amend Existing Registration" and enter the email address and password you used when you first used the registration system.

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "NEXT" to proceed.
  • If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgotten your password?" link and follow the instructions.  You need to enter the email address you used when you first used the registration system and click on "Reset password". The email to reset your password will come from "EventsAIR". 

If you do not find it in your inbox, please check your spam, junk or clutter mailboxes to retrieve it.  The system will send you a link.  Click the link to change your password.  Enter a new password and re-enter the password to confirm.  Click the button to confirm.  Return to the registration page to re-enter the registration system.

  • Payment can only be made when you have completed the entire registration process.
  • An invoice will automatically be generated and sent to the e-mail address provided during registration.

The International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) brings together judicial officers from around the world, fostering genuine diversity and tolerance for divergent perspectives. The IAWJ Biennial Conferences form an extremely important part of the IAWJ’s mission. The International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) welcomes as voting members all judges and retired judges, without discrimination on the basis of gender. It welcomes non-judges as Amicus Judicii.

 

The IAWJ is committed to enabling events at which everyone can participate in an inclusive, respectful, healthy and safe environment and be treated with fairness and dignity. IAWJ events are guided by the highest ethical and professional standards, and all participants are expected to act with integrity and respect towards all participants.

 

All IAWJ Biennial Conference participants are expected to:

 

·        Behave courteously and professionally;

·       Treat all participants with respect, dignity, and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions;

·       Communicate and collaborate in a considerate and respectful manner;

·       Discuss differences and critique ideas non-confrontationally, respecting differing viewpoints;

·       Report any inappropriate behavior directed at themselves or others;

·       Respect the rules, policies, and property of IAWJ /the Host Country Association, the conference facilities, and vendors;

·       Comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the host country.

·        Physical assault/harassment (actual or threatened pushing, shoving or use of any other physical force whatsoever against any person);

·        Harassment – defined to include, without limitation, verbal harassmen (epithets, derogatory statements, slurs), visual harassment (posters, cartoons, drawings), and innuendo;

·         Sexual harassment  - defined to include unwelcome, unsolicited, or unreciprocated sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct or gestures of a sexual nature;

·        Behavior that is disruptive or that endangers the health or safety of yourself or others;

·        Discriminatory conduct based on race, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, national origin, disability, religion, marital status, veteran status, political affinity, or any other characteristic protected by law;

·        Deliberate intimidation, threatening, stalking;

·        Destruction, theft, dismantlement, defacement, abuse, or intentional misuse of any IAWJ / Host Association or-contracted venues, property, equipment, signage, or supplies;

·        Failure to comply with directions of IAWJ staff or venue personnel regarding matters of safety or emergency response procedures.

Terms and Conditions By purchasing goods or services from The Conference Company for the IAWJ Conference 2025, the customer is deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions. We may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Event Cancellation and Refund Policy • Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the International Association of Women Judges Conference 2025 • All prices are in United States dollars. • Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you may reassign your registration to another person, before March 15, 2025; $ 55 USD will be charged in addition to the original registration fee. Please notify the Conference Company via thandeka@confco.co.za of the replacement delegate's name and contact details. • If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a refund less a cancellation fee of US$150 will be made, providing notification is received prior to March 15, 2025. • Cancellations made after March 15, 2025. are non-refundable. • If, for reasons beyond the control of IAWJ, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred. • The Privacy Act 2020 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent. On the registration form, you will be directed to use the credit card payment facilities provided by PayPal. Payments by credit card can be made with Visa or Mastercard and may incur a transaction fee. Accommodation Policy Accommodation must be booked via the link provided on the conference website. The Conference Company is not responsible for any of your accommodation booking and payments. Please ensure you read and understand the hotel’s terms and conditions as they vary from one hotel to another. It is your responsibility to contact the hotel directly for any amendments or cancellation and all payments. Privacy Policy By completing this registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be made available to the IAWJ Conference 2025 Committee, the venue and accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings and IAWJ Conference 2025 related items only). Your details will be included in the delegate list unless you have indicated otherwise Insurance It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Liability and warranty The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies to the sale of goods or services to consumers. If the goods or services are acquired for a business, then our liability is limited to the contract price. Disclaimer The conveners reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. Neither the organisers (The Conference Company) nor the convenors shall be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation or abandonment of the event where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, natural disasters, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the event despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause. Attendees are advised that photographs and videos may be taken during the event and reproduced for promotional purposes.

  • Transactions are in ZAR and USD.
  • Payment must be made at the end of the registration process by credit card or requesting invoice for payment via EFT; an invoice will be emailed with your confirmation; a receipt will only be sent once payment has been received into the conference bank account.
  • If payment is not made, the registration process will not be complete, and your registration details will not be saved
